Chapter 5: QuickPrint Printing from USB
or Printer Memory
About QuickPrint Printing
QuickPrint is an alternative way of printing that allows you to print labels stored on the printer’s
internal memory or a USB flash drive. This feature allows on-demand standalone printing without
the need for a computer.
Printing labels directly from the printer is useful in many situations. For example, you may want to
locate the printer in an area without computer access. Or you might want to create a library of
approved label files and store them on the printer. Such label files can be printed as needed but
they can’t be edited by the printer operator.
QuickPrint Requirements
This section describes the image file and USB flash drive requirements for QuickPrint printing.
• QuickPrint printing is supported for PDF, BMP, JPEG, and PNG files with bit depths up to
32-bit.
• USB flash drives up to 32 GB are supported.
• USB flash drives must be formatted as FAT32 to be recognized by the printer.
Managing Files
The QuickPrint File Browser allows you to manage image files using the printer’s touchscreen.
You can delete and copy images that are stored on a USB flash drive or your printer’s internal
memory.
1. Prepare a USB flash drive. Copy any required images from your computer to the USB flash
drive.
2. Insert the USB flash drive into one of the USB A ports on the rear panel of the printer.
