5. Remove the media by hand.
When the jam is cleared and the media has been completely advanced or retracted, remove
the media from the printer by hand.
Removing the media by hand should be an easy process. If the media feels stuck, the jam
may not have been cleared.
Caution: Do not attempt to force the media or printer damage may result. Ensure the jam is
cleared before removing the media.
6. Clean excess adhesive from the printer.
If any excess adhesive accumulated on the printer during the jam removal process, you will
need to clean it before printing again. Use pre-moistened alcohol cloth wipes to remove
adhesive from these areas.
