3 Installation
3.1 Scope of Supply
F-FEM-CON device (please refer to the figure in Product specific informa-
tion on page 11)
Connector set for all I/O connections
P-SUB socket with case for 24 V supply
4 x D-SUB 25-pin connector with housing for wiring the counter inputs and
digital I/Os
4 x D-SUB 9-pin socket with housing for wiring the analog inputs
7 x D-SUB 9-pin connector with housing for wiring the analog outputs,
digital I/Os and frequency outputs
1 x P-SUB socket with housing for connecting the watchdog circuit or the
emergency stop circuit
Test and calibration protocol containing the measured accuracies of all
counter channels. (The serial number on the protocol must correspond with
the serial number on the type plate on the device!)
Test certificate
Software: The firmware has been already installed.
Information
Normally, the F-FEM-CON is delivered in a cabinet with the wiring already done.
Component parts must only be exchanged in the case of replacements or
system extensions..
Please check the contents with the items as indicated under Scope of Supply.
Information
If the actual necessary firmware for operation is not installed, it will be loaded by
the automation system during the initialization phase (chapter "The F-FEM Firm-
ware Download Manager (FFDM)" in F-FEM Parameterization, please see
Secondary literature on page 13).
