4.2 Analog Input Load Cell
4.2.1 Block Diagram
Connection of a strain gauge
Specific resistances can be compensated and thus the highest accuracy can be
achieved with the four-wire supply of the strain gauge.
The signal input is highly resistive to prevent the bridge from being loaded. Thus,
the input can move towards its full-scale value when it is left open. The full-scale
value indicates that a sensor has not been connected correctly or that a signal
line has been interrupted.
