7. Perform the Operational Checkout procedures in Chapter 10,
“Operational Checkout”.
Replacement of CPU Board
1. Separate front and rear housings in accordance with “Separation of Front
and Rear Housings” on page 8-5.
2. Separate boards in accordance with “Separation of Printed Circuit
Boards” on page 8-7.
3. Carefully squeeze the four board spacer tops (Figure 11-2 , item 10) with
needle nose pliers to release the CPU board (Figure 11-2 , item 2) from
the display board (Figure 11-2 , item 1).
4. Lift the Pump 1 side of the CPU board to disconnect CNDISP at the
bottom of the board from the display board and pull it perpendicularly to
the board.
5. Reassemble in reverse order. Be sure to check that the Pump 2 side of the
CPU board in the slot of the white PCB holder on the display board and
that the connector CNDISP is seated firmly. Be sure to remove any dirt
or dust on the LCDs and the windows before tightening the CPU board
to the front housing. Tightening torque for the board is 7 kg-cm
(6.1 in-lb).
6. Calibrate in accordance with “DC Line Voltage Calibration,” 9-1 through
“Slide Shaft Sensor Calibration,” 9-18.
7. Perform the Operational Checkout procedures in Chapter 10,
“Operational Checkout”.
Replacement of Display Board
1. Separate front and rear housings in accordance with “Separation of Front
and Rear Housings” on page 8-5.
2. Separate circuit boards in accordance with “Separation of Printed Circuit
Boards” on page 8-7.
3. Stand the printed circuit cards upright and remove the five screws
(Figure 11-2 , item 15) securing the corners and right center of the
display board.
4. Carefully disconnect connector CNDISP and remove the display board
from the sensor board.
Be sure to place the CPU board on an insulated surface. Avoid touching
potentiometers on the CPU board and the LCDs on the display board during the
disassembly/assembly procedures.
