9 Verifying Calibration Values

Automatic Test Mode 1: Calibration Mode 1
The purpose of this calibration mode is to check the calibration of the
upstream and downstream occlusion sensors, and to check the pump’s internal
DC voltages from the power supply.
1. Place the pump on its back. Enter Automatic Test Mode 1:
1.1 Press and hold CLEAR TOT VOL and 1 keys, then press the
ON-OFF/CHARGE key.
1.2 Release the ON-OFF/CHARGE key without releasing the
CLEAR TOT VOL and 1 keys for at least three seconds.
The pump is in Test Mode 1 if UP and DOWN are displayed
on the left hand side of the message (upper) display.
If the pump is not in Test Mode 1, turn off the pump and repeat
this step.
2. Place the thickness gauge (part no. UKOG1013.B) onto the upstream
occlusion sensor.
3. Close the pump head door.
4. Plug the pump into a 115 ±5.0 VAC, 60 Hz power source.
5. Check that the value displayed in the PRI RATE window of the Main
Display is between 3242 and 3314.
6. Remove the thickness gauge, close the door, and check that the value is
3080 or less.
Q If the value is within specification, proceed to the next step.
Q If the value is out of specification, perform “Upstream Occlusion
Sensor Calibration” on page 9-10, steps 2 and 3.
