7.4 Reconnect CN751 on the backup audible alarm board located
in the rear housing.
7.5 Connect CN302 on the CPU PCB. If the audible alarm is
activated, press both
ON-OFF/CHARGE keys.
7.6 Route the pump head harness and pump head ground wire in
the front housing referring to Figure 11-2 so that they will not
be pinched by internal components when the housings are
closed.
7.7 Stand the front housing up.
7.8 Route the battery harness along the side of the battery
compartment so that it is not pinched by the power transformer.
7.9 Route the flat cable so that it is not located above the pump
head.
7.10 Route the ground wire above the stepper motor.
Note: Ensure that the orientation of the crimped terminals of the ground wire at the
grounding plates is as shown in Figure 11-2 , item 13 and Figure 11-3 , item
20.
7.11 Reconnect CN301.
7.12 Close the two housings by slightly lifting and moving the rear
housing slowly toward the front housing.
7.13 Plug power cord into an AC outlet and check that the plug icon
is lit. If not, check for proper connection of CN301.
7.14 Press an ON-OFF/CHARGE key and check that the self test is
performed correctly. If the backup audible alarm sound is not
heard, check for proper connection of CN751.
7.15 Unplug the power cord and check that the battery icon is lit. If
not, check for proper connection of CN302.
7.16 Be sure the front and rear housing surfaces are flush before
tightening. Replace 8 screws (Figure 11-4 , item 6) and tighten
them to 9 kgf-cm (7.8 in-lbs) with a torque screwdriver.
7.17 Replace 2 screws (Figure 11-4 , item 40) at handle. Tighten
them to 9 kgf-cm (7.8 in-lbs) with a torque screwdriver.
7.18 Perform the Operational Checkout procedures in Chapter 10,
“Operational Checkout” if no other repairs are to be performed.
Do not pinch the ground wire between the housings.
