The
wing
flaps are controlled
by
a three-position
switch.
UP,
OFF,
and DOWN. located in
the
subpanel, above the
power
quadrant. The
switch
must
be pulled
out
of
detent
before
it
can be repositioned.
The flap position lights
on
the
left
side
of
the
control
console
show
green for
the
up position and red
for
the
full-
down
landing
position-
intermediate
20-degree
and 1
o~
degree positions are indicated by lines painted
on
the
leading edge of
the
left
flap. The
intermediate
pe>sitions are
reached when the marks are aligned
with
the trailing edge
of
the
wing.

F33
The
wing
flaps are controlled by a three-position
switch.
UP,
OFF.
and DOWN, located in the subpanel, above
the
power quadrant. The
switch
must
be pulled
out
of
detent
before it can be repositioned. A
dial
type indicator has
markings for
UP,
10°,
20°,
and
ON.
The indicator is located
to
the
left
of the control column.
All
MODELS
Limit
switches automatically
turn
off
the elec:tric
motor
when
the flaps reach
the
extremes
of
travel.
lntermediate
flap positions can be obtained by placing
the
switch
in
the
OFF
position
as
the flaps reach
the
desired position
during
flap extension or retraction.
