ENGINE INSTRUMENT MALFUNCTION
In event
of
engine
instrument
rnalfunction, rnaintain the
last
known
rpm and manifold pressure setting and pro-
ceed to the nearest
suitable airfield and land.

higher
power setting
is
required, select maximurn rpm and
en-
richen
mixture
appropriately.
CAUT/ON
At
high
altitudes and
low
power settings, full
rich mixtures may result
in
poor engine opera-
tion. Adjust the rnixture
for
srnooth engine op-
eration upon power reduction.
