suction below 3.5 is noted on the
Instrument Suction Gage, push Master pilot
"OFF'
to
return instruments to
normal flight operation. Check
for
leaks
in
Autopilot system at earliest convenience.
The
Autopilot can
be
disengaged by pushing the
Master
"ON-OFF'
to
the "OFF" position, in the event
of malfunction.
lt
can also
be
overpowered manually
by exerting enough force
on
the.
controls to override
the Autopilot.
2.
Altitude Hold
lf
altitude deviates excessively from set altitude. dis-
engage Altitude Hold by pushing knob
i.n.
Then re-
engage Altitude Hold
as
indicated above.
lf it
still
deviates, a malfunction exists, and the Altitude Hold
should
be
disengaged. Check
for
leakage at the earliest
convenience.
NOTE
The Attitude Hold may
be
overpowered
manually, however, upon release of the
controls, the airplane
will
attempt
to
retur.n
to
the set altitude. unless Altitude Hold is disen-
gaged before changing altitude.
3.
Omni
lock
In the event
of
VOR
or
LOC
mode malfunction, dis-
engage Autopilot NAV Switch.
lt
can also
be
manually
overpowered by exerting enough force on
the
controls
to override the Autopilot.
