Landing Gear Retraction - With the landing gear safety
system switch in the
ON position, the landing gear will

retract unless· (1) the landing gear position switch is

mately 78 kts/90 mph IAS and (3) the engine is operating
at a throttle position corresponding
to
approximately i 8
to 20 inches
or
more
of
manilold pressure depending on
setting.
NOTE
lf
landing gear retraction is desired before the
indicated airspeed reaches
approxHTiately

kts/90 mph, the landing gear safety system must
be inactivated
by
placing the switch in the OFF
position. preferably before placing the landing
gear position switch in

UP position.
