Checking the throttle sensor
NOTE: The following measurement should be taken when the
temperature of the part is approximately 20° C.
Unplug the throttle sensor.
Connect a multimeter (measuring range Ωx 1k) to the blue (+)
and black (–) wires of the throttle sensor.
Now connect the multimeter to the yellow (+) and black (–)
wires of the throttle sensor.
When the throttle twist grip is rotated slowly, the resistance
should vary evenly.
Removing and refitting the throttle sensor
Unplug the throttle sensor and loosen screws 1.
Remove the throttle sensor from the carburettor.
THROTTLE SENSOR RESISTANCE: 4 – 6 kΩ

When fitting the throttle sensor, ensure that the flat section of
the throttle pin engages the throttle sensor slot.
– Fit the two screws without tightening them and adjust the po-
sition of the throttle sensor.
