Taking down the wheel
NOTE: Place the vehicle on a specially designed central stand
and keep the front wheel off the ground.
Remove wheel holder cap 1.
Loosen the two screws 2 on the left-hand fork foot.
Remove the two screws 3 from the right-hand fork foot.
Pull out the fork pin on the right side.
Remove the wheel assembly.
– If the disc is replaced, refer to the table of tightening torques
in Chapter 3 Tightening torques - Specifications - Recom-
mended products.
Remove the leg protections, the front mudguard and the mud-
guard grille (see Chapter 5 Bodywork and fittings).
Unscrew the two screws 1, disconnect the caliper assembly, re-
move the pipe from the fork and disconnect the speed sensor
cable.
Unscrew the four screws on the left side and the four screws on
the right side and then remove the fork from the brackets.
