■ Adjusting the presser foot height
The standard lifting amount is 6 mm when the presser foot (a) has been lifted by the lifting lever (b).
1. Use the lifting lever (b) to lift the presser foot (a).
2.
Move the presser bar (c) up or down to adjust the height of the presser foot (a) so that it is 6 mm above
the top of the needle plate.
In
addition, adjust so that the groove in the presser foot (a) is parallel to the groove in the needle plate,
and so that the needle hole in the needle plate is at the center of the groove in the presser foot (a).
3. Tighten the screw (d).
