12.3.2 AKS 1300
Checking the stabilising
device (on the side of the
friction pads)
Prerequisite: AKS 1300 connected, ball diameter 50 mm
Turn the handwheel (Fig. 201,1), until it can be heard and felt that the
torque limiting mechanism grates. Direction of rotation: In a clockwise
direction.
Check distance a:
z Distance a > 0 (Fig. 201): Wear within the permissible range.
z Distance a = 0 (Fig. 202): Check and, if necessary, replace the friction
pads.
12.3.3 AKS 3004
Stabilising device:

Prerequisite: AKS 3004 connected, ball diameter 50 mm
Open the stabilising handle (Fig. 203,1).
Close the stabilising handle until a resistance can be felt (the friction pads
lie on the ball, they have not been tightened yet).
