Services and Upgrades
Caution!
There are no internal user-serviceable parts in the Cadex analyzer. Unauthorized
disassembly and/or repair of the analyzer by other than an authorized Cadex Service
Center will void the warranty.
Replacing the Primary (Input) Fuse
If the analyzer does not power up, first check that the power cord is properly inserted and
there is power available. If the analyzer does not power up, then primary (input) fuse may
need to be replaced (see Appendix D - Parts and Accessories, page 141).
To replace the primary fuse
1.
Remove all batteries and adapters, turn off the analyzer and unplug the
power cord. Wait one minute before continuing.
2.
Locate the fuse holder below the power cord socket.
3.
Open the fuse cover by turning it counterclockwise with a small coin or
screwdriver.

Remove and examine the fuse carefully.
