Charge Algorithms
The C7000-C series battery analyzer uses two different algorithms to charge a battery: a
constant current (CC) method for NiCd and NIMH batteries and a constant
current/constant voltage (CC/CV) method for Li-ion and SLA batteries.
NiCd and NIMH batteries
The C7x00 analyzer uses a constant current algorithm to charge NiCd and NiMH batteries.
A current and voltage plot is shown for a typical NiCd battery serviced on the analyzer
using default values. This plot is similar to a NiMH battery.
