MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES

To add oil, remov e the dipstick. Place a
funnel into the dipstick hole.
Add a small amount of recomm ended
oil and recheck oil le ve l.
Repeat the above p roce dures until
oil level reaches the dipstick's upper
mark.
NOTE: Do not overfill. Wipe off any
spillage.
Properly tighten dipstick.

Use a 4-stroke SAE engine oil
meeti ng or exceeding the following
lubricant industry specifications.
Always check the API service label
certification on the oil container, it must
contain at least one of the i ndicated
standards.
– API service classification SJ, SL,
SM or SN
Engine Oil Change
CAUTION The engine oil can
be very hot. Wait until engine oil is
warm.
NO TICE
Engine oil and oil filter
must be replaced at the same time.
Bring en gine to its normal op erating
temperature.
