Always turn off engine
whentiltingthecargobox.
WARNING
– Always ensure no one is stand-
ingbehindthecargoboxbefore
you actuate the release handle.
– The load weight may affect the
operation of the cargo box tilt-
ing feature (tilting or lowering).
Be very careful with the opera tion of
the tail gate and the cargo box as the
load may have moved during transport.
To lower the cargo box, simply pu sh it
down into place.
WARNING
– Keep yourself and others clear
of the cargo box and vehicle
framejunctionwhenlowering
cargo box.
– Ensure to properly latch the
cargo box and the tailgate be-
fore riding.
– Make sure you do not leave ob-
jects between lifted cargo box
and vehicle frame to ensure
proper latching of the cargo box
when lowered.

Hauli ng a Load
NO TICE
A BRP approved rear
hitch must be properly installed on
the vehicle for hauling trailers.
Never pull a load by attaching it to the
cage or other accesso ries; this can
cause the vehicle to tip over. Use o nly
the trailer hitch or w in ch (if installed) to
pull a load.
When pulling loads with a chain or ca-
ble, ensure that there i s no slack before
startin g and maintain tension while
pulling.
When pulling loads with a chain or ca-
ble, be sure to brake progressively.
The inertia o f the lo ad could lead to an
impact.
When hauling a load, respect the maxi-
mum hauling capacity. See

Slack can cause the chain or cable
to break and snap back.
When pulling another veh icle, be sure
that som eone is controlling the pulled
vehicle. They m us t brake and steer to
prevent the vehicle from going out of
control.
Before pulling loads with a winch, refer
to the winch manu facturer’s instruc-
tions.
