MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES
Place vehicle on a level surface.
Place a drain pan under the engi ne
drainplugarea.
Open cargo box .
Clean the drain plug area.
Unscrew drain plug and discard the
gasket ring.

Remove the dipstick.
Allow oil to drain completely from the
crankcase.
Clean the m a gnetic drain plug from
metal shav ings a nd residue. Presence
of debris gives an indication of interna l
engine da m a ge.
Install a NEW gasket ring on the drain
plug.
NO TICE
Never use the gasket ring
a second time. Always replace by a
new one.
Install and tighten drain plug to the rec -
ommended spec ification.
TIGHTENING TORQUE
Drain plug
30 N•m ± 2 N•m
(22lbf•ft ± 1lbf•ft)
Replace oil filter. Refer to
OIL FILTER
.
Refill engine with recomm ended en-
gine oil.

Remove pass enger seats and engine
service cover if nee ded.
Oil Filter Removal
Clean oil filter area.
Remov e oil filter cover.
Remove oil filter.
