4. Clean inside the CVT air inlet with a
vacuum cleaner.
CVT Air Filter Installation
Reinstall CVT air filter and lower cargo
box.
NOTE: Maintaining a clean CVT air
filter will maximize air flow for an opti-
mum CVT components lifespa n.

1. Tilt cargo box, refer to

2. Remove the hose clamps.
3. R emove the r eta ini ng screws.
4. Remove the pre-filter assemb ly.

5. Install a n ew pre-filter assembly.
TIGHTENING TORQUE
Pre-fi lter
retaining
screw
2.5 N•m ± 0.5 N•m
(22 lbf•in ±4lbf•in)
6. Secure hoses with clamps.
Engi ne Oil
Engine Oil Level Verification
NO TICE
Operating the engine
with an improper level may severely
damage engine.
NOTE: Check oil level when engine is
cold.
1. Place vehicle on a level surface.
2. Open cargo box.
3. Uns c rew dipstick then remove it
andwipeclean.

4. Reinstall dipstick, screw in it com-
pletely.
5. R em ov e dipstick and check oil level.
It should be near or equal to the up-
per mark.
