1) SCOPE OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY
Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. (“BRP”)* warran ts its 2021 Can-A m
SSV sol d by Can- Am SSV distributors or dealers authorized by B RP to distribute
Can-Am SSVs ("Can-Am SSV Distributor/Dealer") outside of the fifty United States,
Canada, m em ber states of the Europe an E c onom ic Area (w hich is comprised of
the member states of the European Union plus the United Kingdom, Norway,
Iceland an d Liechtenstein) (“EE A” ), mem ber states of the Co mmonw ea lth of
the Independe nt States (includin g Ukraine and Turkmen istan) (“CIS”) and Turkey,
from defects in material or workmans hip for the period and under the condi tions
described below.
Non-factory installed parts and accessories are not covered under this limited w a r-
ranty. Please refer to the applicable parts and accessories limited w arranty text.
This limited wa rranty will b ec om e null and void if: ( 1) Th e SSV was used for racing
or any other com petitive a c tivity, at any point, eve n by a previous owner; or (2)
the SSV has b een altered or modified in such a way so as to adversely affect its
operation, performan ce or dur ability, or ha s been altered or modified to change it s
intended us e.
2) LI MITATIONS OF LIAB ILITY
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY
GIVEN AND ACCEPTED IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EX-
PRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY
OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TO THE
EXTENT THAT THEY CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES
ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE LIFE OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY.
INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARE EXCLUDED FROM
COVERAGE UNDER THIS WARRANTY. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT AL-
LOW FOR THE DISCLAIMERS, LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS IDENTIFIED
ABOVE, AS A RESULT, THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY
GIVES YOU SPECIFIC RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER LEGAL
RIGHTS WHICH MAY VARY FROM COUNTRY TO COUNTRY. (FOR PROD-
UCTS PURCHASED IN AUSTRALIA SEE CLAUSE 4 BELOW).
Neither the Can-A m S SV Distributor/Dealer nor any other pers on ha s been autho-
rized to make any affirmation, representation or warranty regarding the produ ct,
other than those conta ined i n this limited warra nty, and if m a de, sha ll not be
enforceable against BRP.
BRP reserv es the right to modify this w arran ty at any time, being unders tood that
such modification will not alter the w a rranty conditions applicable to the produc ts
soldwhilethiswarrantyisineffect.
3) EXCLUSIONS ARE NOT WARRANTED
The following are not w a rra nted under this limited warranty under a ny circum -
stances:
– Normal w ear and tear;
– R outine maintenanc e items , tune ups, adjustme nts (parts and labor);
– Da m a ge c a us ed by neg ligence or failure to provide p ro per main tena nc e and/or
storage, as desc ribed in the O pera tor's Guide ;
