Drive Belt Installation
For installation, reverse the removal
procedure. P ay attention to following
details.
The ma x imum drive belt life s pa n is
obtained when the drive belt ha s the
proper rotation direction. I ns tall it
so that the arrow printed on bel t is
pointing towards front of the vehicle,
viewed from top.

NOTE: Turn the driven pulley until the
lowest portion of the cogs on the exter-
nal surface of drive belt is even with the
driven pu lley edge.

Drive and Driven Pulleys
Drive and Driven Pulleys Inspection
This inspection must be performed by
an a uthorized Can-Am dea ler, repair
shop, or person o f your own choosi ng
for m a intenanc e, repair, or replace-
ment.
Drive Pulley
Inspect the bushi ngs of the sliding
sheave of the drive pulley, replace
worn parts.
Driven Pulley
Inspect the bushings of the ca m and of
the sliding sheave of the driven pulley,
replace w orn parts.

Battery Maintenance
NO TICE
Never charge a battery
while installed in vehicle.
These vehicles are equip ped with a
VRLA battery (Valve Regulate d Lead
Acid). It is a maintenanc e-free ty pe
battery, there is no need to add w a t er
to adjust electrolyte level.
NO TICE
Never remove the battery
sealing cap.
