NOTE: Do not unsc rew the co olant

4. Disconnect the l ower rad iator hose
and drain the rema ini ng c oolant into
a suitable container.
NOTE: Ta k e note of the positio n of the
hose clamp on the lower ra diator hose
at the radiator.

1. Lower radiator hose to disconnect
5. Drain cooling system completely.
6. R einsta ll cooling system drain pl ug
and tighten to specification.
TIGHTENING TORQUE

10 N•m ± 1 N•m
(89 lbf•in ±9lbf•in)
7. R einsta ll radiator hose as noted prior
to removal.

Cooling System Bleeding
Models with a Heating/Air
Conditioning S ystem
1. Put the fa n spee d to MAX.
2. R ais e the te m pera ture control to the
maximum.
3. Remove the p ressure cap.
4. Fill coolant system until it i s full up to
the Max line on the coolant bottle .
