. Check the terrain carefully be-
fore you start up or down any hill.
Never climb or descend hills with
excessively slip pery or loose sur-
faces. Never go over the top of any
hill at high speed.

hilling when pulling a trailer.

. Remember that wet brakes
may have redu ce d stoppin g ability.
Test you r brakes after leaving wa-
ter. If necessary, apply them sev-
eral times to let friction dry out the
brakes.
– A lw ays ensure to properly park the
vehicle on the flattest terrain se ction
avai lable. Put shift lever in PARK,
stop engi ne a nd rem ove key before
leaving the vehicle.
– Never assume that the vehicle will
go everywh ere safely. Sudden
changes in terrain caused by holes,
depression s, ba nk s, softer or harder
“ground” o r other irregularities m a y
cause the vehicle to to pple or be-
come unstabl e. To avoid this, slow
down and always observe the ter-
rain a head. If the vehicle does begin
to topple or rollover, the bes t advice
is to immediately steer in the direc-
tion of the rollover! Never attempt
to prevent a rollo ve r with your arms
or legs . You s hould keep your limbs
inside the cage or R OP S (rollover
protective structure).
