storage, as desc ribed in the O pera tor's Guide ;
– Da m a ge resulting from rem ov a l of parts, improper repairs, s erv ice, mainte-
nance, modifications or use of parts not manufa ct ured or a pproved by BRP
or resulting from repairs done by a pers on that is n ot an a uthorized servici ng
Can-Am SSV Distributor/Dealer;
– Da m a ge caused by abuse, abnormal use, neglect or operation of the produc t in
a mann er inc ons istent with the rec ommended operation desc r ibed in the Oper-
ator’s Guide;
– Damage resulting from accident, submersion, fi re, sno w or w ater ingestion,
theft, va nda lism or any act of God;
– Ope ration with fuels, oils or lubricants w hich are not suitable for use with the
product (se e t he Operator’s G uide);
– Damage resulting from rust, corrosion or expo sure to the elements;
– In cidenta l or consequenti al damages , or da m a ges of a ny ki nd including without
limitation towing, trans porta tion expenses, s tora ge, telep hone, rental, taxi, in-
convenience, insurance coverage, loan payments, loss of time, loss of income
or tim e missed for dow ntime ex perience due to s ervice work.
The following list i nc ludes, without limitation, items tha t are considered w ea r
items and that are not cov ered under B R P's limited warra nty unless failure is a
direct result of a defec t in material or w ork m a ns hip:
– Batteries
– B rake pads
– Brake d isks and drums
– Clutch plates / pads
– Clutch sliders
– Clutch springs
– C lutch replac ea ble bushings
–Drivebelts
– Filters
– Finis hed a nd unfinished surfaces
– Fuses
– Light bulbs / sealed
– Lubricants
– Spark plugs
– Suspension bushings
– Suspension sli der shoes
– Suspension springs
–Tires
4) WARRANTY COVERAGE PERIOD
This warranty will be in effect from (1) the date of delivery to the first retail con-
sumer or (2) th e date the product is first put into use, w hichever occurs first and
for a period of:
– TW ENTY-F OUR (24) CONSEC UTIVE MO NTHS for private use.
– SIX (6) CONSEC U TI VE MO NTHS for c om m ercial use or rental use.
