■ Original detection
There are 2 types of the Document sensor on this machine.
• Original Presence/Absence Detection
• Original Length Detection
NOTE:
This machine is not equipped with a document size detection function.
● Original Detection
Presence and absence of the original placed on the Document Pickup Tray is detected by Document Sensor.
• In the case of SADF: SADF Document Sensor (PS9)
• In the case of DADF: DADF Document Sensor (PS7)
When placing an original on the Document Pickup Tray, the Document Sensor detects the leading edge of the document and
judges that the original is present.
"Original is set on the feeder" message is displayed on the control panel.
