● Original Length Detection
Length of the original placed on the Document Pickup Tray is detected by Document Sensor.
• In the case of SADF: SADF Document End Sensor (PS8)
• In the case of DADF: DADF Document End Sensor (PS6)
When the leading edge of the original being fed is detected by the Document End Sensor, it is judged that the leading edge of
the original reached the Document End Sensor.
Also when the trailing edge of the original passes the Document End Sensor, it is judged that the trailing edge of the original
reached the Document End Sensor.
The original length is determined by the time required from when the Document End Sensor detects the original's leading edge
to when it detects its trailing edge.
