Settings for encrypted communications and server certificates is explained.
Encrypted Communications
Set encrypted communications.
[HTTPS Connection Policy]
Set SSL/TLS communication with HTTPS connections.
If not performing SSL/TLS communication, select [HTTP].
If not performing SSL/TLS communication, select [HTTPS] or [HTTP and HTTPS]. Connections using SSL/TLS are enabled
after rebooting.
If [HTTPS] is selected, HTTP access is also redirected to HTTPS to perform SSL/TLS communication.
Server Certificates
Set the server certificate for use.
[Server Certificates]
Select a certificate to use from the certificates registered in [Security] > [Certificate Management] > [Server/Client
Certificate Management], and click [Select].
[Certificate Validity Period]
Displays the validity period of the selected certificate.
Note
• Depending on the server certificate used by the camera and the computer connected to the camera, it may be necessary to install the
root certificate, the intermediate CA certificate, or the certificate selected and exported in [Server/Client Certificate List].
[Security] > [SSL/TLS]
Important
• Video distribution performance decreases when performing SSL/TLS communication.
