Transmitting Audio
Able to transmit audio received from an external device connected to the computer to a speaker with an amplifier
connected to the camera.
To transmit audio, it is required to connect using HTTPS with administrator privileges.
Audio transmission starts.
The [Audio Transmission] button icon will change to active (purple) while transmitting audio.
Note
To transmit audio, first set [Audio] > [Audio] > [Audio Server] > [Audio Reception from Viewer] to [Enable] on the Settings page
(P. 94).
While the icon is active (purple), audio is constantly transmitted even if the [Video and Audio Menu] is closed.
If [Audio Communication Method] is set to [Half Duplex] in [Audio] > [Audio] > [General Audio] on the Settings page (P. 93), there
is no sound sent from the camera to other users while the administrator is transmitting audio. Therefore, even if the [Audio
Reception] button (P. 48) is active (purple), audio input from the microphone cannot be received.
When using audio function with proxy server, it is required to select the [Use a proxy server for your LAN] checkbox in [Network
and Internet] > [Internet options] > [Connections] tab > [LAN settings] > [Proxy server] in [Control Panel], then specify the
camera IP address in [Advanced] > [Exceptions].
