Sound Settings for Using the Audio Functions
In the initial setting of Windows Server, the sound function is disabled by default.
To use audio functions with the viewer, follow the steps below to enable the sound function.
The [Audio Service Not Running] dialog box is displayed.
The [Sound] dialog box is displayed.
If no audio device is installed, refer to the computer manual for use.
Settings for the Environment Which Uses a Proxy Server
In the environment that uses a proxy server, the camera IP address needs to be specified as an exception.

Open [Control Panel] and click [Hardware and Sound].

Click [Sound].

Click [Yes].

Click the [Playback] tab to confirm that an audio device has been installed.

Click [Network and Internet] > [Internet Options] in [Control Panel].

Click [Connections] tab > [LAN settings].

Click [Advanced] and enter the IP address in [Exceptions].
