The following symbols are used with warnings, cautions, and notes in this document. WARNINGs
and CAUTIONs alert you to situations and procedures that can be dangerous to people and/or
cause equipment damage. NOTEs provide additional information relating to a specific operation
or task.
HIGH VOLTAGE WARNING: Identifies a high voltage hazard that can result in
personal injury or death.
ELECTRIC SHOCK WARNING: Identifies a hazardous voltage area that can
cause personal injury or death from electric shock if touched.
FLAMMABLE MATERIAL WARNING: Identifies a flammable or explosive material
hazard that can result in personal injury or death. No open flame or smoking
allowed.
SUFFOCATION WARNING: Identifies asphyxiation hazard that can result in
personal injury or death.
HOT SURFACE/AREA WARNING: Identifies a hot surface or area that can result
in personal injury.
CORROSIVE MATERIAL WARNING: Identifies corrosive material hazard that
can result in personal injury.
ACOUSTIC EMISSIONS WARNING: Identifies sound level hazard that can result
in personal injury. Hearing protection is required.
PACEMAKER WARNING: The turbine generator produces a magnetic field that
can be harmful to pacemaker wearers. Pacemaker wearers must stay more than
30 cm (12 in.) away from an operating turbine engine.
