ThismanualgivesinformationforuseofyourCASECON-
STRUCTIONmachine,asintendedandunderthecondi-
tionsforeseenbythemanufacturerduringnormalopera-
tionandroutineserviceandmaintenance.Thismanual
doesnotcontainalltheinformationrelatedtoperiodical
service,convertingandrepairstobecarriedoutbypro-
fessionalservicepersonnel.Forsomeofthelatteractiv-
ities,theremaybeaneedforappropriatefacilities,tech-
nicalskills,and/ortoolswhicharenotsuppliedwiththe
machine.

ThismanualgivesinformationforuseofyourCASECON-
STRUCTIONmachine,asintendedandunderthecondi-
tionsforeseenbythemanufacturerduringnormalopera-
tionandroutineserviceandmaintenance.
NormaloperationconsistsofuseoftheCASE
CONSTRUCTIONmachineforthepurposeintendedby
themanufacturerbyanoperatorthatis:

FamiliarwiththeCASECONSTRUCTIONmachine
andthemountedortowedequipment.
•
Complyingwiththeinformationforoperationandsafe
practices,asspeciedbythemanufacturerinthisman-
ualandbythesignsonthemachine.
Normaloperationincludes:

ThepreparationandstorageoftheCASECON-
STRUCTIONmachine
•
Swingingcomponentsintoworkpositionandviceversa
•
Addingorremovingballast
•
Pickingupandsettingoffmountedortowedequipment
•
TheadjustmentandsettingoftheCASECONSTRUC-
TIONmachineandequipmentforthespeciccondition
oftheeldand/orthecrop.
Routineserviceandmaintenanceconsistsofactivities
thatmustbedonedailyinordertomaintainitsproper
functionbyanoperatorthatis

FamiliarwithCASECONSTRUCTIONmachinechar-
acteristics
•
Complyingwiththeinformationforroutineserviceand
safepractices,asspeciedbythemanufacturerinthis
manualandbythesignsontheCASECONSTRUC-
TIONmachine.Routineserviceincludesactivitiessuch
asfueling,cleaning,washing,toppingupuidlevels,
greasing,andreplacingconsumablearticlessuchas
lampbulbs.
Thismanualdoesnotcontainalltheinformationrelated
toperiodicalservice,convertingandrepairstobecarried
outbyCASECONSTRUCTIONprofessionalserviceper-
sonnel.Forsomeofthelatteractivities,theremaybea
needforappropriatefacilities,technicalskills,and/ortools
whicharenotsuppliedwiththeCASECONSTRUCTION
machine.
Periodicalserviceconsistsofactivitiesthatmustbe
doneatdenedintervals:

BytrainedpersonnelfamiliarwiththeCASECON-
STRUCTIONmachinecharacteristics.
•
Bytrainedpersonnelcomplyingwiththeinformationfor
periodicalserviceandsafepractices,aspartlyspec-
iedbythemanufacturerinthismanualandinother
companyliterature.
•
InordertomaintaintheexpectedlifetimeoftheCASE
CONSTRUCTIONmachine.Periodicalservicein-
cludesactivitiessuchaschangingoilfromtheengine,
hydrauliccircuitsortransmission,orothersubstances
orcomponentsthatneedperiodicalexchange.
Convertingconsistsofactivitiesthatmustbedone:

Byprofessionalservicepersonnelfamiliarwiththe
CASECONSTRUCTIONmachinecharacteristics
•
Complyingwiththeinformationforconverting,aspartly
speciedbythemanufacturerinthismanual,inassem-
blyinstructions,orinothercompanyliterature
•
InordertorebuildtheCASECONSTRUCTIONma-
chineinacongurationwhichisappropriatefora
speciccroporsoilcondition(e.g.,installationofdual
wheelsetc.)
Repair(anddismantling)consistsofactivitiesthatmust
bedone:
•
Byprofessionalservicepersonnelfamiliarwiththe
CASECONSTRUCTIONmachinecharacteristics
•
Complyingwiththeinformationforrepair,asspecied
bythemanufacturerintheCASECONSTRUCTION
dealer’sservicemanual.
•
InordertorestoretheproperfunctionoftheCASE
CONSTRUCTIONmachineafterafailureordegrada-
tionofperformancewhenscrappingordismantlingthe
CASECONSTRUCTIONmachine.
Readthismanualbeforeyoustarttheengineoroperate
thisCASECONSTRUCTIONmachine.Ifanyinformation
inthismanualisnotunderstood,orifyouneedmoreinfor-
mationorassistance,contactyourCASECONSTRUC-
TIONdealer.
Allpersonstrainingtooperate,orwhowillbeoperat-
ingthisCASECONSTRUCTIONmachine,shouldbeold
enoughtopossessavalidlocalvehicleoperatingpermit
(orotherapplicablelocalagerequirement)andmusthave
