TheHFCR134Arefrigerantgasinuseisarefrigerant
withsafetycharacteristics.
•
Thoughthisrefrigerantisnonammable,nonexplo-
sive,nontoxic,nonirritating,tastelessandcolorless,
itisnecessarytotakesomesafetyprecautions.
•
Avoidanycontactwiththerefrigerant.Incaseof
skincontactwiththerefrigerant,immediatelytreat
theskin.
•
Wearsafetygogglestoprotectyoureyes.If,despite
these,somerefrigerantcomesincontactwiththe
eyes,immediatelyconsultadoctor.
•
Emptythesystembeforecarryingoutrepairsonit.
Donotlettherefrigerantreleaseinthesurrounding
areas.Tosuckit,onlyusedulyapprovedaspirators.
•
Regardlessofthesystembeingfullofrefrigerantor
empty,heatdeterminesaremarkableoverpressure,
whichcouldnotonlydamagethesystem,butalso
causeexplosions.
•
Avoidwelding,heatsourcesoropenamesnearthe
refrigerant.
•
Emptyrefrigerantcylindersmustnotbediscarded.
Whenfull,refrigerantcylindersmustnotbeexposed
tosunraysorotherheatsourcesforalongtime.
•
Themaximumallowedtemperatureforafullrefrig-
erantcylindermustnotexceed45°C(113°F).
