Ifthemachineistoremainunusedforaperiodexceeding30daysdothefollowing:
1.Choosealocationtostorethemachineundercover
orplanoncoveringthemachinewithawaterproof
tarpaulin.
2.Cleanthemachinecompletelyandcleantheengine
withahigh-pressurewasher.
3.Avoidrustpaintallsurfacesofthemachinewherethe
paintisdamaged.
4.Checkthemachineforwornordamagedpartsandre-
placeasnecessary.
5.Lubricatethemachineanddrainthetransmission,hy-
draulicoiltank,rearaxleandengineandrellwiththe
correctgradesofoil.
6.Checktheradiatorcoolantlevel.Ifthemachineis
within100hbeforethescheduledmaintenanceafter
2000h,orwithin2monthsbeforethemaintenance
scheduledafter2years,performtheprescribedmain-
tenanceoperations.
7.Operatetheloaderattachmentsothatallitscylinders
areinfullyretractedpositionandrestthebucketona
blockofwood.
8.Placethebackhoeattachmentintheroadtravelposi-
tion.
9.T aketheenginetotheoperatingpressure,thenstop
itandoperateallthehydrauliccontrolstoreleaseall
residualpressurefromthehydrauliccircuits.
10.Draintheengineoilandllinanti-corrosiveoil.
11.Drainfuelfromthetank.
12.Produceamixtureof90%dieselfueland10%anti-
corrosiveoilandllthetankwithit.
13.Lettheenginerunforapproximately10min.
14.Stoptheengine.
15.Manuallyrotatetheengineseveraltimesforcylinder
andcombustionchamberpreservation.
16.Disassemblethebeltsandstorethem.
17.Spraysomeanti-corrosivegreaseinthepulleyraces.
18.Closethesuctionandthedrainopenings.
19.Coattheexposedportionsofthecylinderrodsand
controlvalvespoolswithgrease.
20.Removethebatteryfromthemachineandstoreit.
21.Placeblocksundertheaxlestoremovetheweight
fromthetires.
22.Covertheexhaustpipeopening.
23.Beforeoperatingtheengineagain,itisnecessaryto
removethepreservationproducts.
