Handlingofhangingloadstocompletetheworkingcycleisallowed,providedthatthemachineisequippedwiththe
relevantoption,providedondemand.Suspendedloadsmustbehandledinstrictcompliancewiththerelevantnational
regulationsandwiththesafetyinstructionsgiveninthismanual.
Theanti-dropvalveslocatedonthecylindersoftheloaderandbackhoeattachment,theliftingloadtablelocatedin
thecab,andthehookonthelinkofthebucketlinkagearesafetydevices.Thelackofoneofthemoradamageditem
makethemachineuntforuse.
Beforehandlingsuspendedloads,checkthatthevalvesdonotshowclearevidenceofdamageoranomalousnoise.
Intheeventanomalousconditionsarefound,contacttheDealer;inthemeantime,donotusethemachineforhandling
suspendedloads.Checkthattheliftingdevice(hooks,chains,etc.)isinperfectconditions,withoutanysignof
excessivewear.Thedevicecanbeusedexclusivelytoliftpartsnotanchoredtotheground.Neveruseitfortowing,
uprootingortearingoperations.Inanycase,complywiththecurrentregulationsinforceasregardscheckingthese
devices(notsuppliedwiththemachine).
Checkthatthesafetyvalvesoperatecorrectly.Apressuresettingcheckmustbecarriedouteverysixmonthsin
accordancewiththemanufacturer’sinstructions.ConsultyourDealer.

Forloadlifting,itismandatorythatthemachineisequippedwithsafetyvalvesappliedonthecylindersofthebackhoe
attachmentandonthecylindersofthestabilizers,withaloadliftingchartcorrespondingtothetypeofmachineand
attachmentsused,andwitharoll-over(anti-tipping)protectionalarm.
Inordertopreventinjuries,donotexceedthenominalloadcapacityofthemachine.Ifthemachineisnotonalevel
surface,theloadcapacityisreduced.Inanycase,alwaysproceedwithextremecare.
Suspendedloadscanrotateandswinginalldirections;therefore,thereisthedangerouspossibilitythattheyhit
personsorthecabofthemachine.Inordertolimitthisdanger,itisabsolutelyrequiredthatallbystandersaremoved
awayfromtheoperatingrangeofthemachineandthattheloadishandledslowly.Intheeventtheloadrotatesor
swingsduringhandling,slowdownuntilthemachinestopsandlowertheloadslowlytotheground;then,correctthe
wayitisslung.
