4-OPERATINGINSTRUCTIONS
Defectivebatterycheck:
Checkwhetherthebatteryofthereceivingmachine
(dischargedbattery)isinworkingorder:
1.Switchoffallelectricalaccessories(lights,fans).
2.Inserttheignitionkey,thewarninglampsfortheen-
ginecheckmustturnon.
3.Ifwarninglampsdonotturnon,thebatteryisdefec-
tive,installafunctionalbatterybeforejump-starting.
NOTICE:Inthiscasethemachinemustnotbestarted,
asthealternatorwouldthenbedamaged.
Assistedstartingconnections
1.Switchoffallelectricalaccessoriesinthereceiving
machineandturnkeyswitchtoposition0.
2.Switchoffallaccessoriesinthesupplyingmachine
(boosterbattery)andshutoffengine.
3.Connecttheredjumpercabletothepositiveclampof
thedischargedbattery(1).
4.Connecttheotherendoftheredjumpercabletothe
positiveclampoftheboosterbattery(2).
5.Connecttheblackjumpercabletothenegativeclamp
oftheboosterbattery(2).
6.Connecttheotherendoftheblackjumpercabletothe
frameonthereceivingmachine(3),asfarawayas
possiblefromnegativeclampofthedischargedbat-
tery.

Startingtheengine
1.Starttheengineofthesupplyingmachine.
2.IncreasetheengineRPM.
3.Starttheengineofthereceivingmachine.
4.Iftheenginedoesnotstartupafter30s,wait2min
beforerestarting.
5.Oncethedisabledmachinestarts,activatesomeof
theaccessorieswithhighcurrentconsumption,such
ascompletelightingandair-conditioningsystem.
NOTE:Thispreventsvoltagepeaks,whichmight
damageelectronicmodules,fromoccurringwhen
thejumpercablesaredisconnected.
6.Disconnecttheblackjumpercablesfromthemachine
framerstandthenfromtheboosterbattery.
7.Disconnecttheredjumpercablesfromthebooster
batteryandthenfromthereceivingbattery.
8.Runtheengineatmoderatespeedforabout30min
topartiallyrechargethebatteries.
9.Havetheelectricalsystemofthemachinechecked,
todeterminewhythebatteriesweredead.
