Mountanddismountthemachineonlyatdesignatedlo-
cationsthathavehandholds,steps,and/ororladders.
Donotjumpoffofthemachine.
Makesurethatsteps,ladders,andplatformsremain
cleanandclearofdebrisandforeignsubstances.Injury
mayresultfromslipperysurfaces.
Facethemachinewhenyoumountanddismountthema-
chine.
Maintainathree-pointcontactwithsteps,ladders,and
handholds.
Nevermountordismountfromamovingmachine.
Donotusethesteeringwheelorothercontrolsoracces-
soriesashandholdswhenyouenterorexitthecabor
operator’splatform.
Workingatheights
Whenthenormaluseandmaintenanceofthemachine
requiresyoutoworkatheights:

Correctlyuseinstalledsteps,ladders,andrailings.

Neveruseladders,steps,orrailingswhilethemachine
ismoving.

Donotstandonsurfacesthatarenotdesignatedas
stepsorplatforms.
Donotusethemachineasalift,ladder,orplatformfor
workingatheights.
Liftingandoverheadloads
Neveruseloaderbuckets,forks,etc.orotherlifting,han-
dling,ordiggingequipmenttoliftpersons.
Donotuseraisedequipmentasaworkplatform.
Knowthefullareaofmovementofthemachineandequip-
mentanddonotenterorpermitanyonetoenterthearea
ofmovementwhilethemachineisinoperation.
Neverenterorpermitanyonetoentertheareaunder-
neathraisedequipment.Equipmentand/orloadscanfall
unexpectedlyandcrushpersonsunderneathit.
Donotleaveequipmentinraisedpositionwhileparked
orduringservice,unlesssecurelysupported.Hydraulic
cylindersmustbemechanicallylockedorsupportedif
theyareleftinaraisedpositionforserviceoraccess.
Loaderbuckets,forks,etc.orotherlifting,handling,or
diggingequipmentanditsloadwillchangethecenterof
gravityofthemachine.Thiscancausethemachinetotip
onslopesorunevenground.
Loaditemscanfallofftheloaderbucketorliftingequip-
mentandcrushtheoperator.Caremustbetakenwhen
liftingaload.Useproperliftingequipment.
Donotliftloadhigherthannecessary.Lowerloadsto
transport.Remembertoleaveappropriateclearanceto
thegroundandotherobstacles.
Equipmentandassociatedloadscanblockvisibilityand
