Engine Coolant Heater
An electric engine coolant heater is
available for your machine. The heater
will keep the engine coolant at a warm
temperature for improved cold
temperature starting. The heater rating
is 1500 watts at 115 volts. Connect the
heater to a 120 volt grounded outlet. A
heavy duty three wire extension cord is
required.

The heater is installed in the heater
housing on the front left side of the
engine. Do the following to install the
heater:
1. When engine is cool remove some
coolant from the engine.
2. Remove the threaded plug from the
housing.
3. Install the heater assembly.
4. Install the connector onto the
heater assembly.
5. Refill engine coolant to proper
level.
