CARD SPEED

Infeed and outfeed card speed.
Speed of card fed in and fed out. Must be set in
accordance with the maximum performance levels for
the motor, so that the motor does not lose steps.
If this parameter is too high, the motor cannot follow the
control and remains blocked.
PRINTEDGE

Print margin from card edge: must be set so that the
head never drops below the card.
Sets the margin, expressed in number of steps, to
prevent the print exceeding the edges of the card. Must
be set by running CardTest 46, checking that the head
does not drop below the card during the print but
remains at a safety margin of 2 tenths.
CLEANER PRESENT

Specifies the presence of the Professional Cleaning
Set.
Must be set at 1 only on machines with a professional
cleaning kit.
CLEANER PERIOD

Indicates after how many cards the professional
cleaning kit operates.
Must be set on machines with a professional cleaning
kit, to indicate after how many cards the professional
cleaning kit operates. If set at 0, the cleaning operation
is disabled.
BLACK GRADIENT

Black Preheating correction gradient along the card.
Defines the preheating reduction gradient for printing
the Black along the card, as compensation for the
increase in the mean temperature of the head.
