– Steam distribution pipe is mounted lessthan300mmabovethetopedgeofthehumidier:
Condensate hose is led down with a minimum slope of 20 %
,intheformofasiphon (min.
hose bend diameter Ø200 mm),directlyintoadischargefunnel.
Note:Ifyourunitfeedsanumberofsteamdistributionpipes,theindividualcondensatehosesare
tobeledintothedischargefunnel.
Important! Beforeputtingtheunitintooperation,thesiphonofthecondensatehosemustbelled
with water.
5.3.7 Inspecting the steam installation
Usethefollowingchecklisttoascertainthatthesteaminstallationwasperformedcorrectly:

 Maximumlengthof4m?
 Minimumbendradiusof300mm(4-5xinternaldiameterwithxedpiping)?
 Havetheinstructionsforhosepositioningbeenfollowed?
 Steamhose:nosagging(condensatepocket)orcondensatedrainwithsiphon(hosebend
withaminimumdiameterof200mm)installedatthelowestpoint?
 Rigidsteamlines:properlyinsulated?Correctinstallationmaterialused?Minimuminternal
diametermaintained?
 Steamhose(s)securelyattachedwithclamps?
 Heatexpansionduringoperationandshorteningofthehosewithageingtakenintoconsidera-
tion?
– Condensate hose
 Downslopeofatleast20%?
 Siphon(min.ø200mm)existingandlledwithwater?
 Condensatehosecorrectlyxedandnotkinked?
