5.3.2 Positioning and mounting of the steam distribution pipes
Thelocationforthesteamdistributionpipesshouldbedeterminedatthetimeofdimensioningthe
airconditioningsystem.Pleasenotethefollowinginstructionstoensureproperhumidicationofthe
duct air.
Calculatingthehumidicationdistance
The water vapour, emitting from the steam distribution pipes, requires a certain distance to be
absorbedbytheambientairsothatitisnolongervisibleassteam.Thisdistanceisreferredtoas
humidicationdistance“B

andservesasabasisforthedeterminationoftheminimumdistances
