Local Configurations 64
Select a control mode for bit rate of video.
CBR: Constant Bit Rate. It is a fixed value.
VBR: Variable Bit Rate, which changes along with environment.
It is recommended to select CBR when there might be only small changes in
the monitoring environment, and select VBR when there might be big
changes in the monitoring environment.
Select a value for bit rate of the camera.
Main Stream: In the Bit Rate list, select a value or enter a customized
value to change the image quality. The bigger the value is, the better the
image will become. The Reference Bit Rate provides the best reference
range.
Sub Stream: If CBR type is selected, the bit rate changes near the set
value; If VBR type is selected, the bit rate changes along with the image
but the maximum change still stays near the set value.
This function is available if you select VBR in the Bit Rate list.
Select the image quality level. The higher the value, the better the image will
become.
If the Audio check box is selected, the recorded video file is composite audio
and video stream. For Sub Stream 1, select video format first before
selecting audio format.
Select an audio encode format. Audio encode format is not available for Sub
Stream 1.
