Installing the I/O board

About this task
The following images indicate the location of the I/O board and provide a visual representation of the installation procedure.

Steps
1. Align and place the I/O board with the slot on the palm-rest assembly.
2. Replace the four screws (M2x3) that secure the I/O board in place.
3. Connect the fingerprint reader FPC (for models shipped with a fingerprint reader), Darwin cable, fan cable, touchpad flexible
flat cable, and speakers cable to the I/O board.
4. Place the fingerprint reader bracket over the fingerprint reader FPC and replace the screw (M2x3) that secures the
fingerprint reader bracket in place.
NOTE:
The fingerprint reader bracket covers both the fingerprint reader connector and Darwin cable connector.
Models that are shipped without a fingerprint reader still have a fingerprint reader bracket to cover the Darwin cable
connection.
