5. Uploading I/O logs to Remote Manager is enabled by default. To disable, toggle off Enable I/O
log uploads.
6. For I/O log upload interval, select the number of minutes to wait between uploading I/O logs.
The default is 60 minutes.
7. For I/O polling period, type or select the interval, in seconds, that the device will use to
upload I/O information to Remote Manager.
8. You can also control individual data points that are uploaded to Remote Manager, to control
bandwidth usage and data size. By default, all individual data points are enabled for upload.
a. Click to expand Data point tuning.
b. Click to expand Digital I/Os to configure individual data points for digital I/Os.
i. Click to expand Digital I/O 1.
ii. By default, all individual data points are enabled for upload. Click to toggle off an
individual data point.
iii. Repeat for each digital I/O.
c. Click to expand Analog inputs to configure individual data points for analog inputs.
i. Click to expand Analog input 1.
ii. By default, individual data points are enabled for upload. Click to toggle off an
individual data point.
iii. Repeat for each analog input.
9. Click Apply to save the configuration and apply the change.
Command line
1. Select the device in Remote Manager and click Actions > Open Console, or log into the IX30
local command line as a user with full Admin access rights.
Depending on your device configuration, you may be presented with an Access selection
menu. Type admin to access the Admin CLI.
2. At the command line, type config to enter configuration mode:
> config
(config)>
3. Uploading I/O logs to Remote Manager is enabled by default. To disable:
(config)> io monitoring drm enable false
(config)>
4. Set the number of minutes to wait between uploading I/O logs:
(config)> io monitoring drm interval value
(config)>
where value is one of 1, 5, 15, 30, or 60. The default is 60 minutes.
5. Set the interval, in seconds, that the device will use to upload I/O information to Remote
Manager:
