3G-SDI signals are very high
speed digital signals which require
better quality coaxial cable than
conventional analogue video. The
data rate is 3 Gigabits per second.
In choosing cable length and
connectors for any installation the
frequency response loss in decibels
should be proportional to √f, from
1MHz, to 3GHz.
