3. Remove the three ILS wire leads from the connector, noting
which wire color goes to which terminal.
4. Using wire cutters, remove wire ties as needed.
5. Loosen the bottle guide, and slide it down on the melt chamber.
Tighten the bottle guide into place.
6. Remove the two Allen screws holding the melt chamber to the
heat shield. Lift out the bottle guide and melt chamber together.
CAUTION: Hot Surfaces. To prevent injury from burns, use care
not to touch hot surfaces or hot ink directly. Wear
protective eyeglasses when working with hot ink.
7. Remove the ink level sensor (Figure 6-8) by loosening the two
nuts with the 5/8 inch open-end wrench on the top nut and a 9/16
open-end wrench on the bottom nut.
