Cross folding refers to paper where single folding
has been performed, and then single folding is
performed again, or letter folding is performed.

In cross folding, paper cannot be stacked lengthwise.

Perform single folding of B4 paper, in accordance with Chapter 2 “3. Standard Folding of
Standard Paper” (p.20).

Use fingertips to firmly hold down the
folding line on single-folded paper.
Ifthefoldlineisnotrmlycrushed(folded),
the paper feed may become unstable, and
becomeasourceforΣfolding.
