5.9 Tips for correct pipetting
Observe the following information in all dispensing modes:

Abb. 5-1:Tip-Tub reagent reservoir
Fig. 5-1: Tip-Tub reagent reservoir
Always place the liquid in a suitable tube. For multi-channel pipettes, we recommend
the Tip-Tub reagent reservoir as a liquid reservoir. The liquid and the pipette should
have approximately the same temperature.
Use the pipette tips only once.
Use epT.I.P.S. LoRetention for solutions containing surfactants is for minimizing
residual moisture in the tip after dispensing.
Use ep Dualfilter T.I.P.S. to prevent aerosol contamination in the tip.
Check whether the set aspiration and dispensing speeds are suitable for the liquid. The
blow-out (Blow) will be conducted at approximately the same speeds.
