5.18 Pipetting with fixed volume – Fix selection dial setting (Xplorer plus)
Previously stored programs with fixed volumes can be executed in the Fixed volumes (Fix)
mode. Up to 10 different pipettings can be created. 3 fixed volumes are predefined upon
delivery:
• 10% of the nominal volume
• 50% of the nominal volume
• 100% of the nominal volume
The aspiration speed and dispensing speed are displayed to the right of the fixed
volume.
Prerequisites
• The pipette is switched on.
• The Fixed volumes (Fix) operating mode has been selected.
• Pipetting with fixed volume has been created.
• The pipette tip has been attached.
1. Select the pipetting using the rocker.
2. Press the Select softkey.
3. Press the rocker up to aspirate liquid.
4. Press the rocker down to dispense the liquid.
5. Press the rocker downward after the dispensing to execute the blow-out (Blow).
